DANCING STRINGS – THE ABBA CLASSICS

FEUERBACH QUARTETT  - BRAND NEW!

With brilliant arrangements and boundless energy, the ensemble brings the unforgettable music of Sweden’s legendary pop icons to life in a completely new way. Hits such as “Mamma Mia,” “Money, Money, Money,” and “Dancing Queen” shine in fresh, virtuosic interpretations—bursting with passion, creativity, and pure joy of performance.

The result: a celebration of music that lets audiences relive the golden age of ABBA—through the powerful, dancing strings of one of Europe’s most exciting chamber ensembles.

THE ENSEMBLE:
  • Jamila Musayeva, Violin I

  • Max Eisinger, Violin II

  • Eugen Hubert, Viola

  • Lukas Kroczek, Cello

Four musicians from four nations, united by a shared mission: to reinvent classical chamber music. The Feuerbach Quartett blends Beethoven, the Beatles, and Dire Straits with breathtaking virtuosity and an unrestrained, note-free performance style that bridges the worlds of classical, pop, and rock.

On stage, everything is allowed—clapping, whistling, dancing—and the audience becomes part of the performance. The quartet’s infectious enthusiasm turns every concert into a musical adventure.

What began in 2014 has since become a European sensation: with over 100 performances each year, the Feuerbach Quartett has thrilled audiences from the Salzburg Festival to Schleswig-Holstein, from Italy to Luxembourg. Whether in grand philharmonic halls or at open-air festivals, their concerts know no boundaries—and no limits.

THE MUSICIANS

Jamila Musayeva – Violin I

Born in Baku, Azerbaijan in 1987, Jamila began violin lessons at the age of six and soon launched her international career. A prizewinner of numerous competitions—including Shabyt Inspiration (Astana, Kazakhstan) and the International Rotary Competition (Prague)—she has performed across Asia and Europe. At twelve, she received a presidential scholarship and was listed in the Golden Book for Young Talents; at sixteen, she was named Best Violinist of the Year.

Jamila studied under Prof. Daniel Gaede (Nuremberg University of Music) and Prof. Christoph Schickedanz (University of Music and Theatre Hamburg). Since 2015, she has been a member of the Nuremberg Symphony Orchestra and joined the Feuerbach Quartett in 2016.

Max Eisinger – Violin II

Born in Munich in 1993, Max began playing violin at age five. Coming from a German-Israeli family, he discovered his passion for improvisation through Klezmer music—a journey that led him to jazz. At eleven, he made his debut in the Munich Philharmonic Hall and soon toured Europe as soloist and jazz musician.

He studied classical violin, jazz, and composition in Nuremberg, Hanover, Warsaw, and Amsterdam, and has composed for the Dutch National Opera & Ballet, the Nuremberg Symphony Orchestra, and numerous film and theater productions. As lecturer, he teaches at the Academy of Theatre and Dance Amsterdam, the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media, and the Music Academy Weikersheim. Max is also part of the Music Swap Lab of the German Chamber Philharmonic Bremen, winner of the OPUS KLASSIK Award 2021.

Eugen Hubert – Viola

Born in Russia in 1986 to a family of musicians, Eugen learned violin from his father and piano from his mother before choosing the viola as his artistic path. After early studies at the Würzburg University of Music, he continued in Nuremberg under Prof. Hans Kohlhase and Prof. Andreas Willwohl, receiving numerous scholarships and prizes.

Performing with ensembles such as the Junge Deutsche Philharmonie and the Nuremberg Symphony Orchestra, Eugen has toured throughout Europe, as well as to China, Russia, and Mexico. He also teaches at several music schools across Bavaria.

Lukas Kroczek – Cello

Born in Poland in 1987 to musician parents, Lukas began cello lessons at age five. At fifteen, he was accepted as a junior student at the Richard Strauss Conservatory in Munich and later continued his studies at the Nuremberg University of Music under Prof. Siegmund von Hausegger.

A multiple prizewinner at the Mozart Association Chamber Music Competition and Jugend Musiziert, he now serves as both juror and educator for the program. Lukas has performed with the Lower Bavarian Philharmonic and the Nuremberg Symphony Orchestra. Alongside the Feuerbach Quartett, he plays in various chamber and jazz ensembles in Bavaria and teaches at music schools in Nuremberg and Lauf.
