FEUERBACH STRING QUARTET "LEGENDS"
"The Redefinition of Chamber Music"
Four musicians from four nations unite breathtaking joy of playing and an unrestrained, note-free performance that blends Beethoven, the Beatles, and Dire Straits within a classical string quartet — redefining the very concept of “chamber music.”

On stage, there’s clapping, whistling, and dancing — and the audience joins in. No other ensemble succeeds quite like the **FEUERBACH QUARTETT** in transferring its pure delight in music so directly to its listeners. What began in 2014 has since become a true sensation on Europe’s concert stages, with more than 100 performances each year: from the Salzburg Festival to Schleswig-Holstein, from Italy to Luxembourg. Whether in philharmonic halls or open-air festivals, there are no boundaries — and certainly no fear of contact.

"LEGENDS" — Legendary from Mozart to Queen

Here, legends come together: What would it sound like if Mozart and Freddie Mercury had written a piece together? Or Pink Floyd and Claude Debussy? Amy Winehouse, Franz Schubert, Michael Jackson, Tina Turner — legends come together and merge into a unique program between classical and pop, presented with wit and intelligence and through the one-of-a-kind (almost legendary) stage show of the FEUERBACH QUARTETT.
Pieces performed include:
• Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Pink Floyd)
• Bohemian Rhapsody (Queen)
• Requiem (W. A. Mozart)
• Back To Black (Amy Winehouse)
• Wilhelm Tell (G. Rossini)
• Come Together (The Beatles)
• Kashmir (Led Zeppelin)
All arrangements are written by the members of the quartet themselves.

"With cheeky pizzicatos, as refined as intelligent arrangements, and incredible joy of playing, the quartet manages to give the songs its own, unmistakable sound"
Crescendo
"An extraordinary musical experience"
Passauer Neue Presse
"Captivating show, technically perfect, varied and precise in execution"
