FEUERBACH STRING QUARTET "LEGENDS"

"The Redefinition of Chamber Music"

4 musicians from 4 nations who, with breathtaking joy of playing, unite Beethoven, Beatles, Nirvana, and Dire Straits in a classical string quartet, redefining the term "chamber music.

On stage, there is clapping, whistling, and dancing — and the audience joins in. The FEUERBACH QUARTETT succeeds like no other ensemble in directly transmitting its pure joy for music to the listeners. What began in 2014 is now a sensation on the concert stages of Europe, with over 100 engagements per year. Whether in a philharmonic hall or at an open-air festival, there are no barriers.

"LEGENDS" — Legendary from Mozart to Queen

Here, legends come together: What would it sound like if Mozart and Freddie Mercury had written a piece together? Or Pink Floyd and Claude Debussy? Amy Winehouse, Franz Schubert, Michael Jackson, Tina Turner — legends come together and merge into a unique program between classical and pop, presented with wit and intelligence and through the one-of-a-kind (almost legendary) stage show of the FEUERBACH QUARTETT.

Pieces performed include:

  • Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Pink Floyd)
  • Bohemian Rhapsody (Queen)
  • Requiem (W. A. Mozart)
  • Back To Black (Amy Winehouse)
  • Wilhelm Tell (G. Rossini)
  • Come Together (The Beatles)
  • Kashmir (Led Zeppelin)

All arrangements are written by the members of the quartet themselves.
